Yesterday, a contractor came with a pad and pen to write down what I want done to the barndo so he could provide a quote. There are several little things I want done, but my highest priority is to cover up the ugly.
It’s time to have some real walls!
The room we spend most of our time in is almost 600 square feet. And the ceiling height is 16 feet. That translates to a whole lot of ugly!
And rather than attempting to do door and window trim as I first planned, I figure I’d be way ahead to simply let someone else do that while I focus on what I do best. What I do best doesn’t include a hammer.
The contractor dude had some great ideas and if affordable, work should begin in a few weeks upstairs and down.
Stay tuned for a barndo mini reno.
