Spring is expensive in normal circumstances. There are flowers to purchase and plant and you have to refresh your mulch or stone. It’s more expensive when it’s your first spring in a new place and you have stuff you need done.
Considering what we’ve spent on the downstairs room’s walls and ceiling — and all the trim required upstairs to finish it — I spent a whole lot more money than I intended to. Then came gutter guards… desperately needed but required even more money. If that wasn’t bad enough, there were dead trees that were just waiting to kill someone with a stray branch.
Bring em’ all down!
I feel like I’m hemorrhaging money!
While I was counting out $100’s to pay this guy, Hendrix called to let me know they will be here tomorrow to install the pool. I haven’t even THOUGHT about chemicals and all the stuff needed to get it ready. Then I’ll need a deck… and a back door there would be nice too…
At least we have some firewood.
Sadly, now I also need to buy a wood splitter. ARG! 😬
