The room where we have computers as well as our family room — better know as the room with no walls that now has walls — is ready to be finished up. I’m tired of looking at plain ole’ concrete floors. Even with rugs, it’s boring and looks dirty no matter how much I use the steam mop.
To spend money… or not to spend money…
I can do the acid stain like what’s in the rest of the house downstairs for about $300 bucks. To do decent vinyl flooring grouted, (like I had in the bathrooms & utility room in Seymour only a cheaper version) would be around $3500 installed. The room is almost 600 square feet.
And… I think I’m going to do a paint wash below the wood strip that covers up where the panels meet (these are 16′ tall walls) no matter which flooring I choose.
All I have to do first is get rid of this sinus infection and catch up on sleep. 🙂
