I’m not motivated to do anything today. I don’t feel like doing business work, so I’m contemplating what to do with the day ahead of me. It’s a beautiful, chilly, fall morning…
There’s plenty of stuff I could do… and even need to do. All the projects I have in mind are missing something though! I want to clean the furniture in the family room — but I haven’t yet picked up Scotchguard. I want to start the flooring — but I haven’t yet purchased the dye and REALLY don’t feel like moving the furniture out of here yet.
Motivation often follows action.
I’m going to order the Scotchguard and flooring essentials online. Once it dries off a bit outside, I’m going to head to the woods and pull a nice grapevine and make a fall wreath for the door.
And because it’s totally normal to have days when we simply don’t feel motivated, I’m going to practice self-compassion and maybe even take a nap. 🙂
