Perry’s store is on the tear-down list for “within 90 days.” It’s been promised multiple times so it may or may not happen during that timeframe, but the building is old and is barely limping along.
I didn’t get the memo — neither did Perry.
I knew we were supposed to have rain today, but didn’t know the weather could potentially be ugly. Perry said the unconfirmed twister (to be determined as straight line winds most likely), missed his store and instead hit the Henryville forestry. An overturned semi on I65 and trees down on US31 — and REMC (their photos from FB) reported downed lines and no service for some.
Just rain — with more rain incoming here on the outskirts of the Ville.
No clue how much rain has fallen over the last 12 or so hours, but Mr. Pesky said there’s water standing in the fields at their place. I just know it’s dreary outside, and the 53° temp feels a whole lot cooler when it’s damp than when the sun shines. 🙂
