Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since Katie went to Tennessee. She still hasn’t moved in her house or started her job. She’s really struggling. It probably didn’t help that I sent her a photo of me with her Dad while at the local bar.
Katie is a worker bee.
Katie’s busy — and she’s a joiner. She was involved in so much stuff when in Crothersville, she barely had time for herself. Waiting is not her forte. If they don’t put her to work pretty darned quickly, she’ll be coming back to Indiana.
She sent a video of the remodeled bathroom and it looks great. She anticipates finishing up the painting by the weekend and says she should be able to move in next week while the couple she’s staying with are cruising with her Mom & Dad. That’s the best case scenario and what she’s shooting for.
In the meantime, it’s a stressful situation.
Katie said it’s been raining and that further complicates things. Staying in someone else’s house with 2 dogs is bad enough. Add rain to the mix and wet dogs stink — and that doesn’t even cover the mess in a house after being outside for a bathroom break.
In Katie’s most recent text message chain, she said she was “stressed to the max.” She needs a home and she needs to make money.
