The eclipse is visible tomorrow here in the Ville. There are those making a very big deal out of it, and others that think it’s foolish to care. Our local bank is closing their doors for the entire day because of it.
I think the eclipse is causing excess rain and grass growth. 😉
I mowed today and had to go over the front yard a bajillion times to keep from raking. It had been over a week since I last mowed — a week of nothing but rain — but holy cow was that stuff tall.

Dharma and Merida will remain inside where they can’t look at the sun. It’s not like you can explain to hounds that because their eyes are also sensitive to high-intensity light exposure, they aren’t allowed to look to the sky. I’m thinking I’ll pull down the blinds so they’ll simply be unaware.
