Are you served up Facebook videos of out-of-control yards being cleaned up for free? Small business owners of lawn care services evidently just drive around looking for overgrown yards and video record the cleanup. The videos are amped up to high speed, and in 3 minutes they’re done.
It doesn’t work that way in real life.
First, these companies aren’t near rural C’ville. Next, a project like that would take me days. And finally, I have yet to buy a GoPro and I’m sure my phone wouldn’t hold hours upon hours of video recordings.
Grass is the gift that keeps on giving.
We might as well make the best of the chore that crops up every spring and lasts until the end of fall. I honestly enjoy yardwork and I feel accomplished when it’s done. Look on the bright side…
It’s great exercise — I know this because my arms get a workout from the weed eater, and my legs get a workout from what I have to push mow. It gets me outside for an extended amount of time and away from the computer. It feeds my brain with either a book or music via my trusty earbuds.
