At not quite 5:30 PM it was not yet getting dark, but there wasn’t any sunlight. Rain throughout the day, the once cloudy skies had turned into pea soup. The barndo was enveloped in thick fog hanging close to the ground and visibility was poor.
Within 15 minutes of this photo being taken, nightfall was approaching and visibility was so low I couldn’t even see the pesky neighbor’s house through the window.
Where’s the pole light?
Even after the Pesky family has gone to bed and extinguished all their lights, I can always still see their pole light in the distance. But not tonight.
When you live in town or in a city you have close neighbors and street lights. This is rural living at its finest.
