Did you know the average American will spend 36 years in bed over the course of their lifetime? That’s around 229,961 hours y’all. According to the latest study that came up with those numbers, it also found that 75% of all Americans think their bed should be more comfortable than it is.
Casper brand VS. generic brand on the cheap.
My bed is a Casper Wave Hybrid. The king-sized mattress alone was close to $3000. I LOVE it! The Pesky’s purchased a queen Casper hybrid and spent close to $2000 for it. They HATE it. For the upstairs bedroom I wasn’t going to invest that kind of money! Instead, I went on the cheap.
If you need a king bed and have $350 bucks, I can help!
The cheap mattress I decided upon was ordered from Amazon and delivered within 2 days. It’s a 12″ hybrid, with gel memory foam and individually wrapped pocket coils innerspring. (Here’s the link to buy.)
It’s firm, yet comfortable, and the sides don’t crush down when you sit on them. It’s seriously a GREAT mattress. It comes with the same 100 night free trial as the Casper brand.
It’s just as good — if not better — than the expensive Casper mattress.
And did I mention it’s CHEAP, y’all?
I paired the purchase with an inexpensive Zinus metal platform bedframe with headboard, and found it to be sturdy and also a great buy. The bedspread/quilt with shams was the least expensive bed coverings I’ve ever purchased. Not great, but ok for a spare room at less than $35 bucks for king-sized. (Here’s the link to buy.)
More expensive doesn’t always mean better. Brand hype is real!
