I usually go to bed around 3:00 AM ET and am at my computer checking email in pjs with coffee by 9:00 AM ET. By the time I get through work stuff and morning doggie detail, it’s 11:00 or so and that’s when I grab a shower, get dressed and start my day.
It’s not that way anymore.
Now that I don’t know if or when some stranger will be here, I get up by 7:00 AM and make my bed first thing. Next are the dogs and a shower and THEN I get a cup of coffee. My goal is to be able to comfortably make everything ready for a showing within 30-minutes of a request. That means I touch-up mop 100 times a day after Dharma.
And that also means I touch-up wash the glass in the backdoor just as many times because of Merida.
It’s true my doggies are a difficult obstacle insofar as keeping a presentable house for sale.
It’s not that it’s been a revolving door of interested buyers in the past 3-days, but there is a showing scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 AM. It’s pretty cool how scheduling works — if you’ve never sold a house through a realtor, you may not know.
You get a text through their system (brokerbay) with the date/time they want to come, along with the name of the realtor. You may either accept or deny the request. I don’t plan to deny any — no matter what. 🙂
