I thought about buying a portable A/C unit for the sunroom since we’re spending a good deal of time out there. No smoking in the house! My favorite cousin, Jerilyn, said they had one in their garage not being used and I was welcome to it. She and Tader even delivered it and put it in the room.
It was a quick set-up for the 10K BTU unit and we cranked it on TURBO cool. When I went back in the sunroom 3 hours later expecting comfort, the temperature had gone up considerably and it was over 100° F. ARG!
We packed that thing back up in the box, opened the windows and turned on a fan. It was down over 10° shortly thereafter. A shot of coolant would’ve probably been the answer, but we knew today’s rain would cool things off anyway.
Just think… this could be YOUR dog relaxing instead of mine.
