Closing happened this morning after all. YIPPEE! I had my doubts.
I don’t know what kind of deal the seller’s struck with good ole’ Dad, but whatever it was it worked. Papers signed and filed — the purchase is in the history books.
Whew!
I read an article today, “3 tips not to gain weight, lose muscle mass as you get older.” The article doesn’t provide 3 tips — the title is misleading clickbait. The author is some professor dude from Hanover. Even with a BS title, the overall message is good.
The article suggests you should climb stairs. The older you are and the harder it becomes the more you’re supposed to do it. (I’ll tell Mom so she can get right on that one.) 🙄
The statement that made perfect sense is that cumulative exercise is best. Bits and pieces of exercise throughout the day rather than “x” amount of time in the morning.
When anything in life feels overwhelming, you can usually accomplish it by gradually taking on a little at a time.
And that’s how I’m going to tackle fixing up this barndo… gradually, and one step at a time.
