I was reminded this morning that REMC has more power outages than Duke Energy. I can’t remember the power going out more than a handful of times while living in Seymour. Even then, no power was because of some huge snow or storm… it was always weather related.
Power has been restored for hours now and I slept through it anyway. But because REMC is active on Facebook and they typically post information about outages and such, I thought it would be interesting to find out what caused the problem.
There was no information at all provided.
What they did share on social media was a link to get their new fiber app. Of course, I want it… but REMC hates Android users. Their new app is iPhone compatible only. Turds!
