Mr. Contractor said this week he would finish here. That’s today plus 2 more days and his chance of reaching his goal is a big ole’ ZERO.
The only way to reach that deadline is if he shows up with a team of at least 10.
There’s so much left for him to do before he’s finished:
- Take down garage door, frame that wall, insulate it, cover it with wood on one side and metal on the other.
- Trim the downstairs windows and doors.
- Add trim to top, walls and floor.
- Spray seal the entire thing.
- Rehang the window blinds.
And that’s just downstairs. Upstairs, he still has to:
- Rehang a door.
- Trim out 2 windows and 6 doors (on both sides).
- Build, stain and complete stairs to Coco’s loft.
- Finish the bathroom trim.
- Patch drywall in a few places so I can touch-up paint them.
Perry is the only one still smiling through this…
My attitude more closely resembles Merida’s feelings on the state of our living conditions…
