I have a sunset to share. I took the photo from my backyard last night…
Crazy what AI can do, right? That’s a true Indiana sunset, it’s just that the landscape was created by using Photoshop’s generative AI. (Basically, the program generates an image based upon text input and places it where you tell it to.)
With generative AI, you can create pretty much whatever you want. I typed “ocean waves” for the photo above, and I typed “still lake” to compliment the sunset photo below (again, taken in my own backyard):
It works with people too!
So don’t fall for the photo manipulations you’re served up from the Internet. Chances are, they’ve been modified using generative AI… especially if the creator is trying to sell you something or convince you to feel a certain way about something.
