Not counting this sunset photo as one of the 52 because it wouldn’t be a weekly one, but I wanted to share it anyway. It’s late August and hot! The evening red implies travelers will be on their way (providing the morning sky will be gray)… but not me! It’s just too darned hot to fool with traveling anywhere.
It was already hot early morning.
It’s was so warm, one would think you’d see blurry swirls in the air like what you see over a burning fire, but just steam appeared over the bean field as far as I could see.
Just a few more days and we’ll be back in the mid-80’s or so. The upstairs A/C units are still waiting on a new coil, but we’re good downstairs. I was told they’d be here tomorrow, but I doubt that will happen. I’m good with that — I’d much rather they help those who have no air — and I’m sure they have many emergencies right now. We’re not one of them. 🙂
