Katie was here for the weekend and I always hate to see her leave. She’s happy in Tennessee but I know she misses her family and friends. With Katie gone, the Pesky Neighbors trying to stay out of the hot sun, and Ben working a mid shift today, Perry and I were the only ones who got in the pool.
The only good thing about that is we didn’t have to listen to country music to keep everyone happy. 🙂
Cooking when it’s hot outside can be a challenge.
When I was choosing items for my Walmart grocery delivery today, I tried to focus on foods that didn’t require a whole lot of stove top action — and zero oven required. Salads are always good, but that and lunchmeat gets old really fast. I see the Ninja Foodi grill thing doing a lot of heavy lifting this week.
I’ve got lots of other stuff I need to do. 😎
