The appraisal is complete — but the results won’t be known until Monday.
Me: I know you haven’t had time to do the comparables, but do you think I’m ok on this?
Appraiser: I don’t see why you wouldn’t be.
That sounds pretty good to me — certainly we can’t be too far off.
Closing date has been set for August 17th… barring any crazy challenges. The gas logs have been serviced as per the inspection report and the electrician will be here tomorrow afternoon. That finishes up everything on the list except the roof.
I’m waiting on a call-back from the roofer regarding the roof “cricket” or “saddle,” but today isn’t the perfect day to schedule anything like that.
They’re fielding a bajillion calls for roof leaks and damage because of our recent weather.
Then I got a text from Mr. Pesky used-to-be-neighbor that said they were sitting on their covered back porch watching three deer eat soybeans.
I’m sitting on my back city porch — instead of grazing deer, I see this… 😒
