I don’t hate the city house… I’ve said before… it’s a GREAT house. It’s all brick, energy efficient, and it’s a good size. It’s not huge, but certainly not small either. If you’re a city person and want a house in a fabulous neighborhood, it’s a wonderful choice.
I’m not that person!
Upon moving in, I was caught up in making it my own. It was fun picking out the paint colors, tearing down walls and getting all new flooring. But once that was done and we actually lived there, it wasn’t fun anymore.
I have this app on my phone called Cameringo. (It’s Android only.) It has a setting called ‘globe’ and it shows exactly how I feel living here. Closed in… fenced in.
I’m sure the pandemic didn’t help. Sure, grocery delivery was nice. But day after day with a small yard and nothing outside to even look at it’s a miracle I’m still sane. At least, I think I’m sane. 🙂
