what my OURA ring revealed about 2023

Oura ring provided a year-end review for 2023 compiled of my recorded habits. Interesting stuff — much of it needs to be addressed and improved.

Let’s dive right in…

  1. I typically get 6 hours and 2 minutes sleep per night. (While ok occasionally, that’s not good enough for an average.)
  2. My average bedtime in 2023 was 1:42 AM. (I need to roll it up about an hour earlier.)
  3. I took 36 naps throughout the year.
  4. I’m most active at 11:00 AM, my most active day is Sunday, and my most active month was September.
  5. My average resting heart rate was 58 with the lowest at 45.
  6. My average HRV was 48 (this is also average for an active 45-year old)

Summary…

If I’d get sleep, I could be 25 again. Too bad there are obstacles…
