The field next door has fully been harvested and will set naked until spring. Wonder if we’ll get corn or beans next year.
Insofar as an update on barndo reno progress… there’s not a whole lot to share. I did get the upstairs bedroom put together with a bed — but there’s no trim yet on the window or doors. I’ve also not painted anything upstairs yet with the exception of Coco’s space. I figure it’s best to get it “livable” first and then do one room makeover at a time.
To Jo Jo or not to Jo Jo?
I’m thinking about colors for the kitchen and dining room. If you watch Fixer Upper and follow along with Chip and Joanna, you know that in the latest season they bought a castle to renovate. The chosen colors have been released:
From what I’ve painted here so far, light colors look better here but I’m sort of leaning toward the colors named drawing room and conservatory. I think I’ll fire up Discovery + and watch the episodes before I make any decisions.
